: If the victim does not understand the language used in the criminal proceedings under this Act, he can hire an interpreter, sign language expert or translator with the permission of the court concerned. In such a way, Nepal Government will bear the prescribed amount out of the amount incurred for hiring an interpreter, sign language expert or translator upon the request of the concerned person.
